2010, the Year of Transformation

I received my daily update from Etsy, and a pair of sequined spats by jdotdesigns caught my eye.  I decided to look at  jdot’s other items, and I was totally inspired. Last year, my resolution was to not buy any new clothes.  Ha!  What a joke. I refused to make the same mistake this year, so towards the end of last year I  committed myself to transforming the wardrobe I already own. This year for me is all about transformation. When I saw the rest of jdotdesigns items, I thought, this jdot has the right idea. Instead of me buying 10 pairs of trendy shoes or shirts that may or may not make it into next year, I can recreate what I already own with jdotdesigns  spats and cuffs.  Here’s the sequined spats that caught my eye and a of other a couple of other items that I like:
