Exposed Zippers
I did not instantly jump on the exposed zipper trend that emerged late 2008. In fact, I am still hesistant to wear it on something more formal. However, I have found some pieces that I would rock without hesitation. One is this cutout dress by Silence and Noise. The zipper is not only exposed but works its way into the cutout detailing in the back of the dress, making it the entire focal point of the dress. Even more impressive than a dramtic entrance, is a dramtic exit!

Another example of the exposed zipper as the focal point is this nude number by Silence and Noise. I love the juxtaposed feminity of the silk cami with the edgy yet well integrated zipper. Fun stuff!
